Why should I book a service using HomeX?

All service providers on our platform are carefully vetted to ensure their honesty, reliability, and punctuality. We select service providers that perform high quality service at competitive market prices.

How are jobs priced?

Prices are either preset or will be determined by the service provider after performing an inspection. This will depend on the type of service you select.

How do I pay for the job?

You have the option to pay via the app using your debit/credit card or in cash to the service provider.

Does HomeX charge a fee for the service?

Our service is free for all customers. Our service fees are only taken from the service provider with no additional charges to the customer.

Will I be charged for quotes?

No. Once you receive your custom quotes, you have the flexibility to select the service provider that best suits your needs.

How many quotes can I request?

You may request up to three quotes from different service providers. You can then compare the quotes, view customer reviews from previous jobs, and view their company profiles.

What happens if I am unsatisfied with the work after the job has been completed?

There's a 30-day warranty on all labour work so you can either let us know by contacting our call center agents via the app or directly send the service provider a text via the app under the "Previously Used Service Providers" feature. We'll do everything we can to make it right.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. For emergency jobs, you have a ten-minute window to cancel the job from the time of confirmation. For regular jobs, you can change or cancel your booking up to 24 hours prior to the commencement of the job via the app without a cancellation fee.
